Mena Alexandra Suvari (born on 13 February 1979) is an American actress fashion designer and model. After beginning her career as a model, she began acting as a guest on 90's television shows such as Boy Meets World and High Incident. Her first film role in the 1997 drama Nowhere. Her performances in American Beauty - for which the actress was nominated receive the BAFTA Award - and American Pie that earned her greater attention, she transitioned into bigger roles. After that, she was in Loser (2000) with her American Pie co-star Jason Biggs as well as later portrayed the lead character in the comedy film Sugar & Spice (2001). In 2002, she was a part in Spun the drama that was made by an independent studio and 2004's thriller Trauma. Her other appearances include HBO's series Six Feet Under.
